Meet Our Leaders

Miles Aucoin

Founder chairman

Prior to launching EPC Project Services Miles was a Global Director of Project Controls at Jacobs Engineering, and he continues to teach in the Construction Management Program at the University of Houston.

Throughout his career, Miles has developed an expert understanding of Project Execution for both Home Office Engineering and Construction. Miles’ unique approach to Management is one centered on understanding the person behind the professional.

This is accomplished by understanding employees’ individual motivating factors, then putting them in a position to achieve their goals by working successfully within an organization’s framework. Miles founded EPC Project Services to understand local job markets around the world, the skill and competency of experts in those markets, then match the right opportunities to the most deserving candidates. Bringing the right opportunities to the right people is the driving idea behind EPC Project Services.

Jim Blevins


Prior to assuming the position of President for EPC Project Services, Jim held the role of Vice President for a project management consulting firm where he led many independent project reviews, performed third party gate reviews, developed project controls processes, facilitated project management training, and identified candidates for project management support positions. He also was contracted to multiple owner project management teams where he served as a project controls leader and Business Manager.

Previously he worked on the EPC Contractor side supporting multiple engineering, fabrication and construction projects throughout the United States, South America, Europe, Middle East, and the Caribbean.

Jim Bausano


Jim has over 35 years of experience in progressive leadership roles in business management, strategic planning, sales and client management, operations management, program management, project management, and mergers and acquisitions.

He has led global and regional organizations exceeding $300 million in annual turnover with 2,000+ staff. He has a proven record for achieving organic growth and improved business performance through organizational/change management and strategic plan development and implementation.

He has supported mergers, acquisitions, and integrations with three different companies including direct leadership for business integration within and outside the US. Personal strengths are in the transformation of existing organizations to exceed commercial and strategic goals through alignment with market, client, and staff needs. He has extensive experience working with senior executive leadership teams having been a member of global and regional executive, operational, and market vertical boards.

His experience spans the oil and gas, mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, power & utility, and government client sectors in various countries and multi-cultural environments.

David Scott


Prior to assuming the role of President for EPC Project Services, David was President for a US onshore oil and gas company overseeing more than $5 Billion annual investment and over 2,000 staff.


Previously, David was Project Director for the first oil and gas facility in Guyana, leading all aspects of the project from early concept through engineering, construction and start-up.  He has also led business units in Australia, Malaysia, UK, Angola and Abu Dhabi focusing on safe and efficient operations, industry leading project execution and delivery of strategic goals.


David brings in significant capital project experience including small brownfield to large greenfield projects and is passionate about developing individuals and team capabilities to deliver at the highest standard.
